JUMBO RETREAT – The University at Buffalo’s Lori Duval-Jackson visits the Tuesday Night Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Brighton Place Library, 999 Brighton Ave., Town of Tonawanda, to talk about the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, which provides refuge for the animals after they are retired from zoos and circuses. REUNION TIME – Reservations are needed by Thursday for the 63rd reunion of the Class of 1956 from LaSalle Senior High School, which will be held Sept. 28 in the Four Points Hotel, Buffalo Avenue and 70th Street, Niagara Falls. It will be followed Sept. 29 with a breakfast in St. John de La Salle Church Hall, 8477 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls. Members of the Class of 1955 also are invited.
