A Niagara Falls woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after police say she was pulling down temporary parking signs in the City of Tonawanda related to this week's Canal Fest.
After fleeing the police, she was pulled over by officers and confronted about the sign situation.
"I am mad at the police for a previous arrest," she told officers, according to Capt. Fredric Foels.
Nicole R. Sarratori, 23, was charged with third-degree criminal tampering and three traffic violations.
Officers saw Sarratori pulling down all the temporary parking signs in the downtown Tonawanda area of Main/Broad and Adam streets before 6 a.m. She fled after being spotted, was later pulled over by officers in Niawanda Park and arrested, police said.
Sarratori is being held on $250 bail.
