Former UB player Harris heading to Hungary for pro career

Jeremy Harris, the Most Valuable Player in the Mid-American Conference Tournament for the University at Buffalo last season, will play professional basketball in Hungary for the 2019-20 season.

The North Carolina native signed to play for Atomeromu SE, a top division team in Hungary.

Harris had 31 points to lead UB in its MAC championship game win over Bowling Green and had 21 points and 10 rebounds in the first-round win over Arizona State in the NCAA Tournament.

He scored more than 1,000 points in two seasons at UB after transferring from junior college. He averaged 14.0 points and 6.2 rebounds for UB last season.
