Former University at Buffalo star CJ Massinburg scored 11 points in 13 minutes of play Sunday night as the Brooklyn Nets fell 85-77 to the Minnesota Timberwolves in an NBA Summer League semifinal game in Las Vegas.
Massinburg made 4 of 8 shots from the field and 3 of 4 attempts from the free-throw line. He came off the bench to contribute one rebound and one steal.
The Nets were led by Jarrett Allen’s 15 points.
Naz Reid led the Timberwolves with 20 points. Minnesota advances to the final against Memphis, which beat New Orleans 88-86 in overtime. The championship game will be played Monday at 9 p.m
