Two Buffalo men hurt after truck crashes into Cambria storage building

Two Buffalo men were hurt in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday in Cambria after the box truck they were riding in crashed into a building, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

The freight truck filled with ice was traveling on Cambria Road when the driver went through the intersection at Lower Mountain Road and struck a storage building on Lower Mountain Road, causing extensive structural damage to the building, deputies said.

Johnathan D. Wilson Sr., 59, said he was unable to stop because of a brake malfunction.

Wilson and his passenger, a 44 year old, were transported by Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company ambulance to DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda for medical evaluation.

None of their injuries appeared to be life-threatening, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Both men were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
