Kay Jewelers soon will open a store in Benderson Development Co.'s McKinley Plaza in Hamburg.
The jewelry retailer this summer will move from its location in the McKinley Mall to the shopping center at 3670 McKinley Parkway, south of Milestrip Road, said Eric Recoon, Benderson's vice president of development and leasing. Kay is taking space that has been vacant since Benderson bought the plaza in 2017.
Also, the CoreLife Eatery previously announced as a tenant for McKinley Plaza will open next month, Recoon said.
It's the first Southtowns location for the trendy, fast-casual restaurant, joining restaurants in Amherst and Clarence. CoreLife is taking part of a 7,950-square-foot addition on the northern end of the plaza. The rest of the space will be devoted to retail.
