Comedy legend Carol Burnett to share memories at Shea's

During her long-running television variety program, "The Carol Burnett Show," the legendary comedian often engaged in a live question-and-answer session with her studio audience. You never knew what was going to be said.

Now, Buffalo-area fans will have that same opportunity when the legendary comedian visits Shea's Buffalo Theatre for an event at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1.

"Carol Burnett - An Evening of Laughter and Reflection Where the Audience Asks Questions" (yes, that's the real name of the tour) will feature Burnett sharing clips and memories from her lengthy career with her fans as well as taking questions from the audience.

“I love the spontaneity of these evenings,” Burnett has said. “I never know what anyone is going to ask, or say, or do, so it keeps me on my toes.”

Tickets start at $79 and go on sale at 10 a.m. June 21 at the Shea's box office, via and by calling 847-0850 or 800-745-3000.
