Buffalo woman accused of ransacking apartment, setting it on fire

A Buffalo woman has been accused of ransacking an apartment and setting it on fire Friday morning.

Buffalo police and firefighters walked into an apartment on the 300 block of Minnesota Avenue in University Heights and found cardboard smoking on the stove amid other wreckage, including bleach dumped over the bed and clothes in the bedroom, food pulled from the refrigerator and thrown on the floor and water left running, according to a police report.

The couple at the apartment said the suspect also poured bleach into the man's PlayStation 4 gaming system and into all his sneakers. They also stated that this behavior had been going on for more than a year. The residents said they had the name, photos and video of the person involved, including footage of her leaving the apartment, according to Buffalo Police.

The suspect is wanted on felony burglary and criminal mischief charges and a misdemeanor arson charge.
