Fight outside Lancaster hotel injures two patrons

An out-of-town patron remains hospitalized after a fight with another man Sunday evening outside a Lancaster hotel, Lancaster police reported.

Police from Cheektowaga and Amherst also responded to the altercation that occurred around 8:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Hospitality Inn, 6627 Transit Road, police said.

Both men were transported to Erie County Medical Center for treatment, police said. One remains hospitalized.

Police did not provide names of the two men, who were identified as out-of-town patrons employed in the area.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call the Lancaster Police Department Detective Bureau at 683-3120.
