Lancaster man who admitted sexual conduct with girl sentenced

A Lancaster man who admitted to engaging in sexual conduct with an underage girl on several occasions has been sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller to 20 years in prison, followed by 20 years of post-release supervision, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.

Prosecutors said 40-year-old Shannon Vickers will also be required to register as a sex offender.

The incidents to which Vickers pleaded guilty occurred between December 2016 and June 2018 at a location in the Town of Lancaster, according to the District Attorney's Office.

In April, Vickers pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree sexual conduct against a child, a violent felony.
