Jessie Pegula advances to Round of 16 in French Open women's doubles

Jessie Pegula, the daughter of Bills and Sabres owners Terry and Kim Pegula, has advanced to the Round of 16 in women's doubles at the French Open.

Jessie, 25, and partner Desirae Krawczyk beat Raquel Atawo and Katarina Srebotnik, 7-5, 6-3, on Friday at Roland Garros in the second round. 

They will face Su-Wei Hsieh and Mónica Puig in the next round.

Jessie is currently ranked a career-high No. 72 in singles in the WTA and also played in her first Fed Cup match for Team USA in April against Switzerland.
