Watch: St. Joe's lacrosse player makes SportsCenter Top 10

St. Joe's senior and team leading scorer Kellen Pulera had three goals and two assists as the Marauders routed Canisius, 16-2, in the Monsignor Martin boys lacrosse championship game Wednesday.

One of those goals, however, is getting national attention. As captured by WKBW, Pulera took a pass and scored on a ridiculous over the shoulder shot.

The video made its way to ESPN and Pulera's was No. 3 on the SportsCenter Top 10.

Here is the video:

"The goal was pretty crazy," Pulera said Thursday. "Evan Mulderig passed the ball and I had to reach for it and I knew I wouldn’t be able to turn my body and shoot normally so I pulled it behind the back."

Pulera said his sister was the one who told him that he had made ESPN.

"I found out about the goal at 3 a.m.," he said. "My sister was blowing up my phone so I answered thinking something was wrong and she told me she saw me on ESPN and I was number 3.

"The amount of support I’m getting from the school and my friends is ridiculous. I’ve never had so many Twitter notifications in my life. Everyone reaching out saying congrats, it’s really something special."

Pulera, a Marist signee, has 60 goals and 84 assists on the season for the 19-1 Marauders, who won their fourth consecutive Monsignor Martin crown.
