Name: Amy Bueme, 42.
Who she is: Owner along with her husband, Joe, of Catalyst Fitness – which is expected to open its seventh location in September, this one on Meyer Road in Amherst. The Western New York native graduated from Depew High School and attended Erie Community College. The Buemes live in Buffalo and have four children, ages 22, 20, 18 and 10.
What she's wearing: Balmain jacket; Citizens of Humanity "Rocket" high-waist skinny jeans; white bodysuit; Tom Ford pumps with gold heels; four bracelets she hasn't taken off in eight years, including a tennis bracelet (an anniversary gift) and another with her children's names on it; Fendi earrings; rings; Charlotte Tilbury shimmer eye shadow; Aveda 05/Mulberry lipstick.
Signature pieces: Bodysuits – purchased anywhere from Target to Tony Walker – and jeans.
"I love bodysuits – tanks, long sleeves, sexy, sassy. Dress them up, take them from day to night. They're easy. They're awesome," she said.
As for jeans: "I love jeans because you can swear skinny jeans, Mom jeans, flare jeans ... you can wear them holey, you can wear them tight around the ankle. You can have so much fun with them," she said.
"And," she added, "the stretch in jeans is such a game-changer. You can move in them. Spandex is my friend."
Fashion statement: "My fashion philosophy is if you love it and it makes you feel beautiful, wear it. It doesn't matter if it is Monday Tuesday, Friday or Saturday."
Last thing she bought: Louis Vuitton trunk clutch.
In the market for: "Right now I'm looking for a great, thick, high-waist belt that I can wear with skirts, dresses or big sweaters," she said. The belt should have a statement buckle – "simple, but you know it speaks to you," she added.
