Pancho was a pillar of positive strength and energy for me and all of #BillsMafia. He’s been a tremendous inspiration for our team. I was fortunate enough to spend time with him and get to know his story. My heart goes out to his children, friends and family. Viva Los Bills! pic.twitter.com/UFBVMjMWDd

The first time I called Pancho for an interview, he had just left chemo. I could tell he wasn't feeling great (I was shocked he answered the phone). I told him to call me back another time. He said he'd always answer for a 716 number, and wanted to do the interview right then RIP https://t.co/Hwo1YyI1hD

“I don’t want flowers at my funeral. I hate flowers. I want people to bring backpacks-for-kids filled with school supplies.”
Pancho Billa was well-known as a fan.
Ezra Castro was best-known as a kind, generous soul who saw the good in everything.

Whether you're a @BuffaloBills fan, a fan of another team, a fan of fooball, or just simply a fan of life, today is a sad day. After a long fight, Pancho Billa has passed away.
It's incredibly sad, but it goes to show you how you don't have to know someone to feel a connection.
