A third protest is planned Sunday in front of an East Aurora nursing home by a former resident's daughter who has been pressuring the facility to improve care to residents and working conditions for employees.
Jennifer Page is urging families and friends of residents dissatisfied with the care at the Absolut Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Aurora Park to participate in the 11 a.m. protest.
"We hope that our continued pressure will make the administrators change the way they treat their employees and residents," said Page, who said her father received poor care at the facility.
Absolut at Aurora Park, at 292 Main St., saw its overall rating from the federal government drop Wednesday from two stars to one one star, or "much below average."
