Chautauqua County motorist faces multiple charges after stop for equipment violation

A motorist stopped for an alleged equipment violation Sunday afternoon was arrested on multiple charges, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Deputies issued appearance tickets to Larimey A. Gilbert, 33, of Gerry, for possession of marijuana, seven-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, aggravated second-degree unlicensed operation and having no left side mirror.

Officers said that they pulled Gilbert over on Route 380 in the Town of Stockton about 4 p.m. and alleged that upon investigation they found small quantities of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana, hypodermic needles and scales in her vehicle. Deputies also said she was driving while her license was revoked.
