Former Clemson forward Javan White visiting UB

Javan White, a 6-10 forward/center, is visiting the University at Buffalo on a recruiting trip, according to his Instagram story.

White is a graduate transfer who spent last season as a grad student at Clemson, his only season with the Tigers. He entered the transfer portal in late March and has one season of eligibility remaining.

White played in 31 games with two starts, averaging two points and two rebounds in 8.4 per minutes per game. He played double digit minutes in 10 games and his season high was 10 points against Pittsburgh. He was the first big man off the bench and was expected to see an increased role next season.

He spent the previous three seasons at Oral Roberts, and averaged 10.2 points and nine rebounds in 32 games in 2017-18 as a starter.

In other Buffalo related recruiting news, Andre Allen, who has been released from his letter of intent at UB, has received an offer from Florida. Allen is a 6-9 forward from Arizona Western.
