An anonymous donor has contributed $1 million to a joint campaign with Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and a Madison County health care organization that will help provide expanded access to cancer care to Central New York.
The gift will assist in the completion of a three-phase project by Roswell Park and Oneida Healthcare, and brings the total to more than $10 million of the $12 million goal.
As the first phase of the campaign, Oneida Healthcare and Roswell Park opened a new infusion center in Madison County in 2017. The second phase, a radiation oncology center, is to be completed in June.
The final phase will be the expansion of Oneida Healthcare’s imaging services with the installation of a new state-of-the-art equipment.
“Expanding the reach of our care to Madison County is vital to our mission, and I want to express our thanks to this generous anonymous donor for helping make it possible,” said Candace S. Johnson, President and CEO of Roswell Park.
