East’s previous losses were to Williamsville South and on Monday to Williamsville North despite three-goals each by Lyla Militello and sophomore Courtney Maclay.
Amherst, which has only a loss to Division I Lancaster to mar its record, defeated Sweet Home, 15-8, behind a 12-point performance by Grace Van Buren who had nine goals and three assists. The Tigers, unbeaten in Division II games, scored a 14-13 win over Division I Hamburg on Monday despite a five-goal performance by the Bulldogs’ Anjali Silverheels.
Eden won at East Aurora, 12-8, in another Division II match.
