These conductors will try out for the Orchard Park Symphony

The four finalists for the job conducting the Orchard Park Symphony will have on-the-job tryouts.

Matt Marco, who has conducted two recent productions of Buffalo Opera Unlimited, is the accompanist for the Buffalo Master Chorale, and performs with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, will lead the orchestra Oct. 25.

Hayden Denesha, associate conductor of the Rock Hill Symphony Orchestra and assistant conductor for the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University, will conduct the Dec. 13 holiday concert.

Nicholas DelBello, conductor/music director of the Cheektowaga Community Symphony Orchestra who teaches music theory across the Williamsville Central School District, will conduct the Feb. 14 concert.

S. Shade Zajac, principal conductor/music director of the Genesee Symphony Orchestra and the Finger Lakes Symphony Orchestra, will bring the 71st season to a close April 3.

Concerts are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays at Orchard Park High School.
