Buffalo man pleads guilty to first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child

A Buffalo man pleaded guilty Friday to one count of first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child before State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.

Prosecutors said 29-year-old Leon Chatmon admitted that, starting in late 2018 and into early 2019, he engaged in sexual conduct with an underage girl over the course of more than three months in Buffalo.

Chatmon faces a maximum 25 years in prison when he is sentenced June 7. He was being held without bail.
