A Buffalo man will be arraigned in Pembroke Town Court later this month on felony charges he possessed more than 10,000 untaxed cigarettes, according to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office.
Tareq F. Saleh, 30, was pulled over for speeding on Alleghany Road in Pembroke at about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
Saleh was charged with possession of more than 10,000 unstamped cigarettes and fourth-degree criminal tax fraud. He also was ticketed for speeding and a seat belt violation, according to deputies.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on April 25.
