Lines form at the Chrusciki Bakery stand at the Broadway Market to buy the Polish paczki, a filled doughnut traditionally sold on Fat Tuesday. Shrove Tuesday or Fat Tuesday is the last day of indulgence before the Christian observance of Lent that begins the next day, on Ash Wednesday.
