The University at Buffalo bookstore on UB's North Campus has reopened after damage from a windstorm on Sunday damaged its roof and forced it to close, according to the Follett Corp., which owns and operates the business.
While repairs are still being made, the company said the bookstore will be open with limited customer access from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The bookstore is closed Sunday. Postal service at the bookstore is expected to resume Monday, the company said.
Elsewhere on the campus, damage from Sunday's storm was minimal. Two broken windows have been boarded up and will be replaced. Also, three damaged doors were repaired. Officials estimate the property damage to be less than $10,000.
University Facilities continues to clear tree branches and other debris, including lightweight portions of the bookstore roof.
