Letter: Let’s consider the point to begin impeachment

In many union contracts, if an employee does not show up for work and does not report off for three days, he is considered to have abandoned his employment. If a contractor does not show up at a job site and make some progress, he is considered to have abandoned his contract.

So, we have an elected official who goes to campaign rallies and refuses to take part in negotiations to keep our government running. Does that not count as abandonment of employment?

At what point does this become an impeachable offense?
