Tom Morello's "Atlas Underground Live" tour will hit Buffalo at 7 p.m. May 18 in the Town Ballroom (681 Main St.).
The legendary guitarist of acts like Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave and Prophets of Rage will be passing through town as he continues to tour in support of his 2018 offering. The record, his first solo output since 2011's "World Wide Rebel Songs," finds the musician fusing elements of both rock and EDM while featuring guest appearances from an eclectic batch of musicians including the likes of Steve Aoki, Big Boi and even Marcus Mumford.
Morello described the tour as “one part Marshall stack guitar madness and one part bass drop meltdown," in a previously released statement. "The show will be an intense sonic and visual ‘less talk, more rock’ experience that’s somewhere between a crazy mosh pit, an illegal rave, a subversive art installation and a prison riot."
Advance tickets are $30 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 22 through the venue's ticket office, Ticketfly.com or charge by phone at 877-987-6487.
