Jury still deliberating in police brutality trial

Jurors in the civil rights trial of Buffalo Police Officer Corey Krug adjourned without a verdict Tuesday.

The four-man, eight woman jury asked to again see the WKBW-TV video at the center of the case. The video, shot on Thanksgiving Day of 2014, shows Krug's encounters with one of the three men he is accused of assaulting while on duty. Each of the three men testified against Krug.

Jurors also sent U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara a note saying they were having difficulty reaching a verdict on some counts, but he directed them to keep deliberating.

An 18-year veteran, Krug is charged in a four-count indictment involving three separate allegations of brutality dating back to 2010.

If convicted, he would face a maximum of up to 10 years in prison.
