Dispute over 'missing drugs' leads to baseball-bat beating in South Buffalo

A man told Buffalo police he was beaten and robbed Monday by two men, one armed with a baseball bat and the other with a gun, according to a police report.

The victim told officers his girlfriend asked him to come over because "there was a problem with some missing drugs," an officer wrote in the report.

When the victim arrived at a home on Good Avenue, between South Park Avenue and Abbott Road, he was met by the two suspects, one of whom pointed a gun at him and his girlfriend.

After the suspect with the gun punched the victim, he fell onto a bed. That's when the other suspect hit him with a baseball bat several times, according to the report.

The assailants took the victim's cellphone. The victim was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center for hand and arm injuries.
