Seven people were arrested in a late-night narcotics raid Friday in the Town of Conewango that broke up an alleged distribution center for methamphetamine, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported Sunday.
Investigators with the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force recovered more than a half-ounce of crystal meth packaged in several containers, scales and packaging materials during the 11:15 p.m. raid at 138 Williams St., the Sheriff's Office reported.
Arrested on felony drug possession charges were: Robert G. Clark, 33; Jaime M. Camocho Jr., 58; Bonnie S. Slater, 58; Charlotte A. Schuver, 31, all of the Williams Street residence; Layna R. Jimerson, 29, of Cottage Road in South Dayton; and Austin W. Slater, 33, of Route 62 in Dayton. Facing a misdemeanor narcotics possession charge was Alex C. Hayes, 27, of 138 Williams.
All defendants were arraigned in Town of New Albion Court and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail.
