The Western New York Law Center will expand its consumer debt defense consultations into North Tonawanda on Tuesday.
Its Civil Legal Advice and Resource Office will have representatives in the second floor conference room in North Tonawanda City Hall, 216 Payne Ave., on the third Tuesday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon.
The Law Center's attorneys also hold sessions once or twice a month in Buffalo, Lackawanna, Niagara Falls and Jamestown, offering advice to people who face legal problems over debt collections, wage garnishments, frozen bank accounts or debt-related judgments. Sessions do not require advance appointments.
Attorney Paulette C. Campbell and Connie Joyce, the paralegal serving as community outreach coordinator, are scheduled to join city officials for a brief ceremony opening Tuesday's first session.
