Four people were arrested on drug charges Thursday following a raid on a North Transit Street residence in Lockport, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
The search warrant was executed by the Niagara County Drug Task Force and assisted by the Niagara County Emergency Response Team. During the search, investigators seized over half an ounce of crack cocaine, scales and packaging materials, according to the Sheriff's Office.
In addition, $1,744 in cash was seized, the Sheriff's Office said.
Arrested were Barbara D. Meyers, 60; Sheldon W. Allen Sr., 42; Joshua D. Coney, 31; and James P. Fontana, 29. The Sheriff's Office declined to release information about where each resided at the time of their arrest.
All four were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a quantity greater than 500 mg, the Sheriff's Office said.
They were all arraigned in Lockport Town Court and held in lieu of $2,500 bail, according to the Sheriff's Office.
