Buffalo man sentenced to 19 years for Goodyear Avenue shooting

A Buffalo man who pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in a fatal May 2018 shooting was sentenced Thursday by Erie County Court Judge Kenneth Case to 19 years in prison, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.

On May 9, Kyle Lovines, 20, fatally shot 23-year-old Chaz Carter, on Goodyear Avenue in Buffalo.
