Series of break-ins lead to arrest of Cheektowaga man

A Cheektowaga man has been arrested following a rash of break-ins this month in the Clinton Street area, near the West Seneca-Cheektowaga border, according to the West Seneca Police Department.

Liam Date, whose age police did not provide, was charged Wednesday with three counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary and numerous other charges in connection with the burglaries, police said.

The investigation leading to Date's arrest was conducted by detectives from police departments in Cheektowaga, North Tonawanda and West Seneca.

At his arraignment, Date's bail was set at $10,000, West Seneca Police said.
