Former Jamestown resident charged with receiving, distributing child porn

A former Jamestown resident was arrested in Texas and charged with receiving and distributing child pornography after his laptop computer and phone were seized by federal law enforcement officers, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Prosecutors said 32-year-old Travis Sanders of North Richland Hills, Texas, is being detained and will be returned to the Western District of New York.

An examination of Sanders' laptop revealed images and videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. A preliminary examination of his phone revealed social networking applications with the alias “Damion Forsberg,” prosecutors said.

Homeland Security Investigations received a report from Canadian officials that someone with that username “Damion Forsberg” on Skype regularly shared pornography that sometimes included children in the content, and was believed to reside in Buffalo or Florida.
