A citizens advisory committee will help guide the future reuse of the Brooks Memorial Hospital campus, with plans underway to replace the Dunkirk hospital at a different location.
The Brooks-TLC board of directors named two of its members, Virginia Horvath and Lou DiPalma, co-chairs of the committee. Horvath is president of SUNY Fredonia, and DiPalma is a vice president at Lake Shore Savings Bank. Ten other members were named to the committee.
The committee, which will meet monthly this year, is being asked to provide advice on proposals to reuse the property, as well as how Brooks-TLC can better engage the community.
