Cleveland Hill running back Aaron Wahler has announced his intention to play football at the University of Mount Union in Ohio.
Wahler, a two-time All-Western New York first-team selection, tweeted his decision Sunday.
Mount Union has won 13 Division III national titles, with the most recent coming in 2017.
Wahler fueled Cleveland Hill’s run to its second consecutive state Class C semifinal appearance by scoring a school-record 33 touchdowns and averaging 11.6 yards per carry. He finished with 1,929 yards, including 330 along with three touchdowns, in the Section VI final against Southwestern.
He holds school records for career rushing yards (4,907) and touchdowns (78) and is a two-time Connolly Cup finalist.
