DOLLARS AND SENSE – The Niagara Frontier Coin Club holds its semi-annual coin, currency and collectibles show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in Lewiston Fire Hall No. 2, 1705 Saunders Settlement Road (Route 31). RECALIBRATING – Bad weather forced cancellation of the opening reception for Daemen College’s 50th annual All High Exhibition of artwork by high school juniors and seniors last weekend.
They’ll try again at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Elizabeth C. Tower Gallery in the Haberman Gacioch Art Center. It’s free and open to the public. The exhibition will remain on display through Feb. 22.

COMFORT CUISINE – Lt. Col. Matt Urban VFW Post 7275, 3741 Walden Ave., Lancaster, will hold its fourth annual Meatloaf Cook-Off from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. You can enter your own recipe in the competition or simply taste free samples of the contest entries. Prizes will go to the top three. For info, call 681-8387.

ALWAYS A NEED – It’s Undie Sunday this weekend as the Rotary Club of Grand Island kicks off a drive to collect new underclothing and socks for the homeless.
Hampers for donations will be placed in Grand Island churches, banks and businesses. Items will go to Buffalo City Mission, Harbor House, the Mission of Niagara Falls and St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy. The drive continues through Feb. 24.
