Trocaire College and the Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology will team up to offer free training in phlebotomy and sterile processing and distribution to Buffalo-area residents.
The training will be made possible by a grant of nearly $100,000 from the Regional Economic Development Council and will take place at the BCAT downtown campus this fall.
A total of 24 spots are available, 12 each in the phlebotomy and the sterile processing and distribution courses.
More information is available at trocaire.edu/bcatcareeropportunity.
The cost of course tuition will be covered for participating students — as will books, supplies and public transit passes. Catholic Health will interview students who complete the training and consider them for employment.
