Jamestown woman charged with appearing in public under influence of narcotic

A Jamestown woman was charged Tuesday with appearing in public under the influence of a narcotic, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they observed 27-year-old Tiffany M. Walsh visibly under the influence of a narcotic at 3:22 p.m. as she walked into the front lobby of the South County Office Building. They later determined that Walsh was allegedly under the influence of methamphetamine and also determined that she was allegedly in possession of the drug at the time of her arrest.

Walsh was issued two tickets to appear at a later date in Jamestown City Court and released, the Sheriff's Office said.
