Three weeks ago, former “Bachelorette” contestant Jason Tartick had this to say when I asked if he started dating: “I do have someone that I’m interested in that I recently asked on a date and she accepted,” said Tartick. “So we’ll see, more to come. She may or may not have ties to the ‘Bachelor' franchise.”
Now it can be told: The Buffalo native announced on NBC’s “Today” show on Wednesday that he and Kaitlyn Bristowe, who was “The Bachelorette” in Season 11 of the ABC reality program, have been dating for “about a month or so.”
Bristowe was there as Tartick appeared in a “Guys Tell All” segment.
Tartick said they met through Bristowe’s podcast and a “friendship turned into a relationship.”
Bristowe’s three-year engagement to her “Bachelorette” choice, Shawn Booth, reportedly ended last fall.
If you missed Monday’s premiere of the excellent HBO documentary “Breslin and Hamill: Deadline Artists,” be advised it will be playing several additional times on one of HBO’s channels. It is scheduled to air on HBO2 at 3:10 p.m. Saturday and 6:10 p.m. Monday. It also is available On Demand.
The one-week delay in President Trump’s “State of the Union” address means NBC’s “This Is Us” will be off the air for two weeks – first for the Tuesday the speech to Congress was originally scheduled and then for next Tuesday’s replacement date. It also means that the season finale of the popular series is being delayed by a week.
