Lecture by World Trade Center architect canceled due to weather

Architect Daniel Libeskind's scheduled lecture Wednesday at the University at Buffalo has been canceled due to severe weather and travel complications.

UB's School of Architecture and Planning said the event will be rescheduled later this spring, with details to come soon.

The lecture was to have focused on Libeskind's current projects, along with his thoughts on the practice of architecture and the education of architects.

Libeskind is known globally for works such as the Jewish Museum Berlin, the World Trade Center Master Plan and the extension to the Denver Art Museum.
