[BN] Blitz newsletter: Robey-Coleman checks Bills notes to prep for Tom Brady in Super Bowl

Nickell Robey-Coleman seems to think age is catching up with Tom Brady, but the former Bills cornerback knows he'll need every piece of knowledge to try to stop the Patriots quarterback in the Super Bowl.

"I've been pulling out notes way (back) from Buffalo," Robey-Coleman said Monday during Super Bowl Media Day. "I pull out Buffalo notes for Tom. That's the type of guy he is, that's how you've got to prepare for him. You've got to prepare all the way up to the game. If you're not preparing up to the game, he will (scorch) you. So you've got to make sure that you're very on point with how you come at Tom Brady. You've got to make sure you're on the screws."

Robey-Coleman was also asked about his departure from the Bills.

“What happened in Buffalo happened in Buffalo. I try to keep that there,” he said. “I don’t try to get into what happened in Buffalo, I’m out there to play my heart out. I love Buffalo. (The fans) showed me major love. I love the fan base there, huge fan base, and it’s all respect for Buffalo. That’s all I got for Buffalo is just big respect.”

Bills keep some special teams continuity by signing Reid Ferguson: Ferguson will be the Bills' long snapper for three more years. News soccer writer and digital MVP Ben Tsujimoto adds that Ferguson is a top contender in the Mes Que/FC Buffalo Premier League fantasy league.

Bills add assistant offensive line coach Terry Heffernan: Heffernan worked with new Bills offensive line coach Bobby Johnson with the Detroit Lions in 2013 and '14.
