Worker accused of stealing from Seneca Niagara Casino

NIAGARA FALLS — An employee of the Seneca Niagara Casino is accused of stealing $100 bills from her cash drawer at the Fourth Street facility and using some of the stolen money to purchase food from a restaurant inside the casino.

Niakiasha L. Benton, 18, was arrested this week and charged with two counts of petit larceny. Police said Benton stole money from her till — they did not give an exact amount — on Jan. 19 and 21, and on one occasion she used some of the money to buy food from a restaurant inside the casino.
