Free rabies vaccinations for dogs, cats, ferrets to be offered in North Buffalo

The Erie County Health Department will offer free rabies vaccinations to dogs, cats and ferrets Wednesday at the North Buffalo Community Center.

Any pet owners interested in having their pet vaccinated should bring their pet on a leash or in a carrier between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to the community center, 203 Saunders Road, off Colvin Boulevard and south of Kenmore Avenue. If possible, owners should also bring a copy of the pet's vaccination record.

The county will offer this free vaccination clinic and others held later this year in association with the SPCA Serving Erie County, Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society and Medaille Veterinary Technology.
