It’s all about the judges.
Just in case my liberal friends have not been paying attention since President Donald Trump’s inauguration, the Senate has confirmed two Supreme Court judges, 85 Article III judges: 30 United States Courts of Appeals judges and 53 district court judges.
I have a feeling there were zero liberals appointed, so for many years to come we can assume that most of their decisions will be in the conservative mold.
If Trump does not get reelected in 2020 he has already shaped the country in the conservative view, so even if the left succeeds in their silly impeachment good luck getting a two-thirds majority in the Senate to remove him from office.
I don’t know how much longer Ruth Bader Ginsburg can hold on at 85 years old with all her health problems. Nobody thought that Hillary Clinton would lose the election. Ginsburg wanted to remain in the court until after Clinton was president so she could nominate Obama to the Supreme Court. So, the Democratic Congress can open up as many investigations as they want. One thing for sure, nothing will be done for the good of the country in the next two years.
It’s all about power in Washington and the real power in Washington is the Supreme Court. So, hold onto your hats it’s going to be a bumpy ride for the next two years. If somehow Trump gets re-elected in 2020, more conservative judges will be seated and I for one am looking forward to that.
