Gun recovered after Family Dollar robbery

Buffalo police investigating a robbery at a Family Dollar store Tuesday night arrested four people on marijuana and gun possession charges, according to a police report.

The suspect in a robbery at the store on South Park Avenue at Louisiana Street was seen on video surveillance getting into a small white SUV. Officers approached a white Chevrolet Trax about a block away on Fulton Street, and found four people inside along with a loaded 9 mm handgun, according to the report.

Pernell Jackson, 24, Kyenell P. Jackson, 19, Carlos A. Rodgers, 25, and Sabrina Jacobs, 20, were arrested at 7:50 p.m. and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.

The report did not indicate any charges were levied at the time regarding the robbery.
