Clark to lead Hamburg planning board

The Hamburg Town Board appointed William Clark chairman of the Planning Board.

Clark, who has served on the board since 2014, has been vice chairman for three years. The opening for chairman occurred when the Town Board failed to reappoint former Chairman Dan O'Connell to the Planning Board, opting to place Kaitlyn McCormick in the seven-year term on a 3-2 vote.

Planning Board members unanimously recommended Clark, a graduate of Canisius College and the University at Buffalo Law School, to be chairman. The Town Board vote for Clark was unanimous.

The Town Board also appointed  Jennifer Puglisi as Planning Board attorney.
