A Frewsburg man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a single-vehicle accident Monday in Chautauqua County, according to State Police.
Troopers who responded to the crash said an investigation revealed that 26-year-old Tyler Oakley was in an intoxicated condition at the time of the accident on Oak Hill Road.
According to State Police, Oakley's truck left the road and struck a telephone pole, causing extensive damage.
Oakley was transported to UPMC Hospital in Jamestown for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
A blood sample was taken at the hospital and after Oakley's release, he was processed at the State Police barracks in Jamestown and issued tickets to appear in Carroll Town Court next month, State Police said.
