Letter: Politicians should try asking citizens what they want to do

It’s Republicans versus Democrats and nothing is getting done for the people. The Constitution of the United States was based on the principles of “We, the people of the United States!”

Why then doesn’t the president and Congress represent the people who elected them into office.

Did anyone ask the people if they want a wall and if they wanted to spend several billion dollars of their money on the wall?

Why don’t we let the people vote on the issue and see what the results would be!
