Blessed Trinity Church, a Buffalo landmark, will embark on a major architectural restoration next spring and has launched a fundraising effort to help fund the project.
The church's "Fall Fest" will be held Oct. 19 at the Twentieth Century Club, 595 Delaware Ave. Entry is $100 per plate and includes one-hour open bar, hors d'oeuvres beginning at 6 p.m., a three-course dinner at 7 p.m. and music by the Neville Francis Band.
Blessed Trinity, located at 317 Leroy Ave., was the first structure designated as a city landmark in 1977. The restoration is being funded in part by a grant from the state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, but the small congregation must provide matching funding to receive the grant. For more information call the church at 833-0301.
